Movie data and verification

FlickMesh is currently an early prototype. Its small launch catalog is a hand-curated demo dataset and may contain incomplete cast lists.

Production data policy

Future batches use CC0 structured facts from Wikidata as the primary source. Titles, release years, directors, genres and principal cast relationships are checked automatically, while conflicts and ambiguous credits are held for human review.

What reaches the game

Imported records move through pending, review and approved states. The complete catalog stays in the build-time data layer; visitors receive only the small puzzle payload they need. Only approved batches can replace the demo catalog. Every approved record must retain its source identifier, source URL and verification date.

Images and affiliation

FlickMesh does not scrape or republish movie posters or stills. It is not affiliated with any film studio, IMDb, TMDB or Wikidata.

If you find a title, year or cast connection that looks wrong, please include the movie names and the puzzle number when reporting it.
